Twin Falls Temple Celebration

This past year our family had the wonderful opportunity to participate in the opening of the Twin Falls LDS temple. I was asked to participate with the youth as the TF Stake Dance Director over 200 boys and girls performing a country line dance and a square dance. I was also in charge of the specialty number where cloggers from all over the area auditioned. We had over 60 cloggers on the dance floor... We held weekly practices for the clogging and also rehearsed with the stake every Wednesday for 4 months. Some where in the middle of it all I had a baby and rehearsed my studio teams, and was ready to start dance in September. All feats that I owe thanks to heaven for achieving as there were many days and nights I didn't think I was getting it done or that any was even possible.

It was an amazing time for the youth and they will never forget having the prophet in their midst.

Lochlainn and I got to meet the prophet thanks to his mudslide of a diaper and so that is a story for another time.

Blogging skills are not clogging skills

An attempt at something new is something for which I am usually game...however, in my attempt at blogging, I feel like the newb at a Scrapbookers Anonymous convention......"What does this thingy do?" Oh, oops! Make it stop!!!
Anyhoo, my family and I spend alot of time clogging and so my blogging skills may not be up to par with the rest of the world but I don't expect many people to "follow" this anyway. It is mostly a great place to journal and then store some photos. (I have this nagging fear that I will wake up one day and all my photos will be wiped out as well as my computer files.) I know there are ways to take care of this which would require either more computer time and surely more photo-storing skill study. It's not that I don't want to get good at this and that, it's just the time it takes when I should be cleaning, choreographing, costuming, playing trains, changing diapers, making dinner, laundering, visiting, sleeping, to learn HOW.
I need skills. Photo saving skills, blogging skills, christmas card mailing skills, cooking skills, music cutting skills, and clutter organizing skills.
So please forgive the clogged blog. Maybe soon it will come together.
In the meantime when I'm not bloggin, I will be cloggin'!
